JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Contempt Petition is filed to punish the contemnors/respondents herein for their willful disobedience of order passed by this Court in M.P.No.2 of 2014 in W.P.No.19650 of 2014 dated 04.12.2014.
2. The second respondent has filled a counter affidavit stating that the petitioner was functioning as Vice President of Ullur Village, Kumbakonam Block and Taluk, Thanjavur District and since he attempted to encroach the public pathway, which was leading to the grave yard for Valluvar Community, a resolution was passed. It is further stated that the respondents/contemnors have not deliberately violated the order and in fact there was no contempt committed by the respondents.
3. In view of the above counter affidavit filed by the respondents, I do not find any merits in the contempt application. Therefore, the contempt petition is closed. No costs.
