JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition is filed seeking mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.10.2017 wherein and whereby, he sought for departmental action in respect of the properties either stolen from the Temple or taken away by some persons, who, according to the petitioner, are erstwhile hereditary Trustees.
3. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the matter, as it is for the respondents, more particularly, the second respondent to consider and decide. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the second respondent to consider the said representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on its own merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
