The powers to release the Life Convict prematurely is vested with the 1st respondent to whom the petitioner's sister has already made a representation dated 23.09.2009 which is said to be pending.
2.In view of the same, it would be appropriate that a direction be given to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.09.2009 within a stipulated time.
3.Hence, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation made on behalf of the petitioner on 23.09.2009 and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
