1. By order dated 30th March 2012, this Court directed the Registry to call for the report from the learned Principal Judge, City Civil Court, Ahmedabad to suggest what steps could be taken for early decision of the Civil Suit No.2084/1997 wherein the final arguments were only concluded long back. The report was ordered to be called for by the Registry by 12th April 2012. It is reported that the Registry had sent a writ of the above said order on 03.04.2012.
2. Mr.M. B. Gandhi, learned counsel has also stated before the Court that the learned Principal Judge, City Civil Court, Ahmedabad was made aware about the above stated order passed by this Court. However, for the reasons best known to the learned Principal Judge, the learned Principal Judge has not taken any interest in the matter and has not given any response. He has stated that it appears that the learned Principal Judge has got no respect to the order passed by this Court.
3. Under the circumstances, the Registry is directed to call for explanation from the learned Principal Judge, City Civil Court, Ahmedabad as to why in spite of issuance of the writ of order dated 30.03.2012, he has not made any report. Explanation of the learned Principal Judge shall reach to this Court on or before 19.04.2012. The matter is ordered to be kept on 20.04.2012 so as to take further action necessary in the matter. The Registry is directed to send immediate intimation of this order by sending Special Messenger to the learned Principal Judge.
