Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following amongst other reliefs:-
"(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent no.1/Sub Divisional Officer/U.P. Ziladhikari, Tehsil Shahganj, District-Jaunpur to decide the Case No. T201814360105279 (Ashraf and others Vs. Jaheer and others), under Section 201 of U.P. Land Revenue Act arising out of order dated 11.04.2016, passed by respondent no. 1, in Case No. T20151436013479 (Smt. Aasma Vs. Rajendra Prasad and others), under Section 41 of Land Revenue Act, pending before him expeditiously, within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court." Petitioner is aggrieved by the pendency of recall application filed by the respondents against the order of demarcation passed in favour of petitioner on his application under Section 41 of the U.P. Land Revenue Act. This restoration application is stated to be pending since the year 2016.
In view of the statement so made, without entering into the merits of the controversy between the parties, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no.1/Sub Divisional Officer/U.P. Ziladhikari, Tehsil Shahganj, District Jaunpur to consider and decide the restoration application as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of three months from the date of a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
