Respondents in all the W.Ps Petitions filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned order of the 2nd respondent made in TDP Case No.16/2011 dated 18.5.2011 (W.P.Nos.34152 and 33967 of 2012) dated 19.05.2011 (W.P.Nos.33854, 33997 and 33866 of 2012), to quash the same insofar as the petitioner is concerned and issue consequently direct the respondent to drop the action against the petitioner or in alternative to pursue the disciplinary proceedings in so far as it relates to the petitioner under Rule 17(a) of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (D&A) Rule and to finalise the same within a limited time frame.

Pleader for R1 in all the W.Ps R2 – Tribunal in all the W.Ps COMMON ORDER When this Court expressed its opinion that there are no merits in these writ petitions calling for interference from this Court, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners sought withdrawal of the writ petitions. Therefore, permission as prayed for, for withdrawing the writ petitions is granted and the writ petitions are dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would also submit that a direction may be issued for conclusion of the disciplinary proceedings pending against the petitioners.
3. Considering the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court directs the second respondent to conclude the disciplinary proceedings pending against the petitioners in the above writ petitions within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
